Handwoven Winter Scarf, Checkerboard Tweed in Sand and White

The scarf weighs 7.75 oz.

This thick, soft, and elegant scarf was handwoven using Falkland handspun wool yarn and a commercial wool/superfine alpaca blend yarn as warp.

The weft alternates handspun Falkland with the wool/alpaca yarn held with a baby alpaca/fine merino/mulberry silk yarn.

All my handwoven scarves are either one-of-a-kind or limited edition. When I repeat a particular weaving draft, I tend to use different colors and/or yarns, so that all my scarves are unique!

Perfect for a man or a woman who prefers natural fiber accessories!

Each scarf bears my (washable) cork label.

Care

Handwash, in lukewarm water with mild soap. A bit of hair conditioner can be added to the rinse water. Spin out water in the spin-only washer cycle, then lay flat to dry.
