Handwoven "Curtain Call" Rag Rug #3

The amount of fabric available dictates the size and/or number of rugs that can be woven. There are 3 Curtain Call rag rugs available – this larger, un-embellished rug in 4 colors, and 2 smaller rugs in 3 colors – see the separate listing.

Rug 3 Size: 29” x 59"

Warp: 100% cotton

Weft: vintage cotton and cotton/poly sheets and curtains in solids and a floral print

The fabric strips were folded in each weft shot. This gives a crisper appearance to the surface texture of the rug.

Fringe is enhanced for thickness and appearance, overhand knotted, hand twisted, then end knotted.

SAFETY NOTE: Always use a non-slip under rug mat, when using the rug on bare (uncarpeted) flooring.

When the rug needs cleaning, hand wash the under-rug mat as well, as they can tend to lose their *grippiness* when dirty.
