Handwoven Winter Scarf, Tweed, in White and Beige on White
Handwoven Winter Scarf, Tweed,
in White and Beige on White
8.25” W x 60” L with 7” knotted fringes
The scarf weighs 9.25 oz.
This thick, soft scarf was handwoven using white 100% baby alpaca yarn alternating with a light beige merino wool/alpaca yarn for the warp and an extra mega bulky handspun Falkland wool for the weft. The resulting fabric is a subtle, white and beige on white checked tweed.
The warp yarns are very soft. The much thicker handspun Falkland wool creates a plush fabric.
All my handwoven scarves are either one-of-a-kind or limited edition. When I repeat a particular weaving draft, I tend to use different colors and/or yarns, so that all my scarves are unique!
Perfect for a man or a woman who prefers natural fiber accessories!
Each scarf bears my (washable) cork label.
