Handwoven Not-So-Hit-and-Miss aka The Un-Stripe Rag Rug

There are 2 rugs available in this stripe/fabric pattern.

Hit and Miss rugs are woven with randomly chosen weft colors or prints, where, instead, I wove these two rugs using sequential colors and patterns.

This gives some order to the color layout, yet, because of the varying strip lengths, creates a casual appearance. A rug for those who like things a bit off-kilter!

Size: 25" x 37 to 37.5"

Warp: 100% cotton

Weft: cotton and cotton/poly fabrics in blue, blue/white print, soft yellow, and white

Strips are folded in half in each shed. This allows for a smoother surface and a completely reversible rug!

SAFETY NOTE:

Always use a non-slip under rug mat, when using the rug on bare (un-carpeted) flooring.

When the rug needs cleaning, hand wash the under-rug mat as well, as they can tend to lose their *grippiness* when dirty.
